A Huge Thank You to Collin McGuire's Father for a Fantastic NYC 911 Memorial/Museum Trip

Posted on Dec 17 2014 - 10:59pm

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Collin McGuire's father for his outstanding support during our trip to New York.  He not only arranged for us to tour a Manhattan firehouse and chat with the firefighters, he single handedly (ok maybe some help from Collin) prepared over 50 meatball and cheese subs at the fire house and had it ready for us when we arrived.  He then guided us through the subway system (riding was pretty easy, getting Metrocards not so much) and took us through the 911 Museum.  It was a long day but well worth it.  If you were on the trip and enjoyed it, please take a moment when you see Brian McGuire to thank him.  Also a shout out to Todd Warner who also was instrumental in assisting with the purchase of some of the train tickets and subway passes when my bank (BofA) decided that my credit card must be stolen because it was purchasing hundreds of dollars of train tickets.  Thanks BoA.
