All FLOWER SALE ORDER FORMS ARE DUE THIS MONDAY APRIL 7

Posted on Apr 2 2014 - 10:15am

COMPLETED SALES ORDERS ARE DUE MONDAY APRIL 7TH AND WE ARE ON A CAMPING TRIP THIS WEEKEND. That means get out there today (Thursday after school) and on Sunday after the trip and sell some flowers to your neighbors. The yearly flower sale is a great way for a scout to earn money to put towards trips, summer camp and other scout expenses. Here is how it works. Scouts approach their neighbors, family and friends and parents approach their co-workers and friends and take orders for hanging flower baskets, half and full trays of flowers and vegetables. All money is collected at the time of the order. A few weeks later the orders are delivered and we all pick up our orders that Saturday. The Troop does not make any profit from the sale. Once the flowers are paid for, all remaining profits are credited to the scout's account. This is a fantastic way for scouts to earn money for trips.

Ordeal Weekend - Order of the Arrow - May 30 to June 1

Posted on Apr 2 2014 - 10:12am

The Ordeal is designed to challenge Scouts and Scouters. Will you work hard, or will you do the least amount of work possible? Will you deny yourself and put others ahead of your own desires? Will you show your true honor by keeping promises that you have made? These are all questions you will face and answer to yourself during the Ordeal, Brotherhood, and Vigil ceremonies.
